The Boston Stage Society. Incorporated in Maine in 1905, this company performed mostly in Boston. Some of the plays performed by the Society in 1905 include "Much to do about nothing", "Secret Service" and "The Sword of the King". Many of the early performances where held at the Castle Square Theater in Boston.
Lorin F. Deland. Chessmaster. Reporter. Author. Invented college football's Flying Wedge for Harvard which first used the play against Yale in 1892. Deland also co-authored a well know book on Football in 1896 with Yale coach Walter Camp.Stock. Issued in 1905 to Lorin F. Deland. #4. Maine. Signed by Deland as President.
