Osborn Mills. One of Fall River's larger mills with over 60,000 spindles, it was founded by Weaver Osborn, whose portrait appears on the certificates. The mill was built in 1872. Osborn Mills also bought and ran Montaup Mills. Both mills went out of business in 1927. The Osborn mill burned down in 1940.
