Philatelic Sons of America. Stamp collecting was been a major hobby in the US since the first US stamps where printed in the 1840's. By the 1890's, stamp collector clubs and societies could be found in most populated area. The Philatelic Sons of America was the largest of these groups.
Stock. Issued in 1896. #38. Signed by two American Philatelic Society (APS) Hall of Fame members, William Hamilton Barnum as Secretary, and Clifford Washington Kissing as President.
