Horn Pond Branch Railroad Company. Incorporated in 1854. Construction was completed in late 1855. Established by the owners of the Boston Ice Company in order to get ice from Horn Pond (Woburn) to market. As late as 1916, 100% of the stock was still controlled by owners of that company. It ran for only about 3500 feet and connected to the Boston and Lowell Railroad.
Stock. Issued in 1866 to The Boston Ice Company. #11.
