Canal Fish and Freezing Company. Founded in 1916, the Canal Fish and Freezing Company didn't last long and closed its operation in 1921. However, it built a Freezing plant on the banks of the Cape Code Canal in Sandwich MA. That facility continued its purpose of Freezing and storing fish for many years. It was located at the north end of Freezer Road in the Sandwich Marina, and was final demolished in Feb. 2008 as a public hazard.
