Boston Sherardizing and Electro-plating Company. To Sherardize is to produce a protective zinc (non corrosive) coating on iron and steel products. It was developed in 1904 by Sherard Cowper-Coles of Britain. This leads me to believe that this company was a metal working or chemical company, but I have no additional information.
